Lack of time is lack of priorities.
This is one of my (many) favorite quotes and it used to hang on my door in my old office. I should put it up in my new office and also at home because lately I haven’t had time for anything. Or so it seems. Especially the past two weeks time seemed to fly by. I got home from work, ate, did a few things and then it was time to go to bed. Where does my time go!? I’ve also neglected my blog here and I still haven’t had time to finish our home page..shame on me!
I haven’t spent much time writing stories lately but therefore I went back to writing letters with my penpals from all over the globe. In one of my books about writing I read that if you want to be a writer, you have to write. Every day. It doesn’t matter what as long as you write. It is important to keep it up so daily writing becomes a habbit. That way you will be able to finish stories/books you’re writing. When I wrote my NaNo novel last year in November, I wrote at least 3,000 words every single day. One time it was almost 6,000 words and I finished my ~57,000 word novel in only 19 days.
It takes self discipline to finish a project…not only when it comes to writing. (Websites too I guess
)
I don’t really have an excuse for not working on this website. All I can say is that I have been busy with work and my freelancing AND some big changes in my life.
As soon as I have time
I will finish my blog post about my dream of writing a novel and how I was able to do it.
